Palm Springs, California (July 9, 2013) – Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is pleased to announce Hector Moreno has been named Vice President and General Manager for the new Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs.
Currently Vice President and General Manager of Hotel Zoso, the future site of the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs, Moreno is well-versed in both the Hard Rock Hotel brand and Palm Springs history as the vacation destination for the Hollywood elite.
“Hollywood’s love affair with this city reaches back to the days of Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe, and now Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs will help Palm Springs continue this storied tradition with celebrity visits and events,” says Moreno.
Moreno has extensive hospitality industry experience including positions as General Manager for Hilton Worldwide, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Morgans Hotel Group.
Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs will boast the legendary Hard Rock Hotel vibe favored by musicians and celebrities. The hotel will applaud music through brand wide programs, from the on-site VIBE manager, who keeps a pulse on the hotel’s atmosphere, to the groundbreaking, interactive amenity “The Sound Of Your Stay®,” where guests will be able to jam out with hands-on music experiences.
