MARCH 26, 7PM: FINAL FIVE BANDS TO BATTLE FOR COVETED SPOT AT TACHEVAH: A PALM SPRINGS BLOCK PARTY

The last five bands selected from 62 musical contestants from throughout Southern California and Arizona will perform in a free concert at 7pm, Wednesday, March 26 at the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs as part of the second round of the competition to play in Tachevah: A Palm Springs Block Party, co-produced by the promoters of Coachella.  Both events are open to all ages.

Five bands, selected by more than 160,000 votes to mydesert.com, will perform. Doors open at 7 p.m. Judges from The Desert Sun and Goldenvoice will judge the bands with Grammy Award winner Shelby Lynne. At least one act will be selected to perform in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Block Party April 16 in downtown Palm Springs.
