Simon Kitchen + Bar, the latest venture from celebrity chef Kerry Simon, has won a coveted “Diners’ Choice” Award from diners using the restaurant reservation service OpenTable.
Simon Kitchen + Bar, located inside the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs, opened September 24th with rave reviews. It is Kerry Simon’s newest creation and one that continues the legacy of the famed chef’s legendary eateries in Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas and abroad.
The menu at Simon Kitchen + Bar complements Hard Rock Hotel’s welcoming and social environment, with shared plates, unique entrées and stone-oven flatbreads. Social plates include “Tempura Green Beans” made with pepper jelly and cream cheese; “Bacon Jam” served with baked brie and toasted baguette; and “Devil’s Eggs” complete with crispy pancetta and caviar. But it’s Simon Kitchen + Bar’s “Iron Chef Burger” made with three cuts of beef, and created by Kerry Simon during his time on the famous television competition, that proves most popular with diners.
“We could not be more pleased with this award,” said Cory Harwell, the president of Simon Hospitality Group, who led efforts to open the new restaurant earlier this year at Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs. “We’ve worked very hard to make sure every guest has an outstanding experience.”
