PALM SPRINGS, CA – (March 23, 2015) – Simon Kitchen + Bar at Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is pleased to unveil new and exciting items to their menu starting on Monday, March 30, 2015. A departure from conventional hotel restaurants, Simon Kitchen + Bar offers a contemporary spin on comfort foods.
The innovative menu, which was created by famed celebrity Chef Kerry Simon, will continue to emphasize the popular small plate offerings to be shared, while adding delicious new entrees, sandwiches, flat bread sections and desserts.
“We’re excited to be launching our new, seasonal menu, filled with bold flavors and playful interpretations bonded together through classic techniques,” said Executive Chef Jeremy Saccardi.
Diners will enjoy such mouth-watering “Social Plates” such as Veal Meatballs Parmigiana with Rapini and Burrata, Pulled Pork Sliders with Chile Verde, Pickled Cactus and Panela, and Wok Charred Edamame with Togarashi.
Meat lovers will savor the flavors of the new 22-ounce or 36-ounce Bone-In Rib Eye prepared with Marrow Butter and special steak sauce; or the new Double-cut Pork Chop accompanied by a Bacon & Apple Relish and fresh Cornbread.
Homemade Stone Oven Flatbread selections include Mama’s Meatballs with Crispy Eggplant, Ricotta and Pickled Zucchini, Wild Mushroom with an Asparagus-Walnut Pesto and Cabrales Blue Cheese, and Spicy Rock Shrimp with Chile Fonduta, Roasted Poblanos and Avocado.
Save room to try one of the delectable desserts like the Mixed Berry Cobbler, which is infused with Grand Marnier and Meyer Lemon, and served with Crème Fraiche Ice Cream.
Simon Kitchen + Bar, which opened in the fall of 2014, was given a highly coveted “Diners’ Choice” Award from diners using OpenTable to make reservations.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. A happy hour menu, “Simon’s Five @ Five,” is offered Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
